I want an idiot count...

Please raise your hand if you are not pleased with winning last night.
I'm never more amazed at the stupidity of some of our fans than when we win a game by less than 20 points. UW will prove to be the most improved team in the Pac-10 and one of the most improved in the NCAA. Were there some areas of concern? Yeah, tackling, o-line play, some defensive calls, but overall a solid effort from a young team on the road for their first game. Please, if you don't like the win, just stop being a fan.

I think most everyone will agree we played sloppy, but given all the conditions surrounding the game and it being the first one, some of that is expected.
Too many rantards on here are calling for all the coaches head's because we didn't beat UW 40-0.
We beat a pac-10 team (who will win some pac 10 games this year, this is not the washington of last year) and we beat em while not playing very good. Let the coaches get the kinks worked out and lets see what happens when this team starts playing like we know they can...

I think the problem is that we expected to see a Championship team kick some arse and all we got was a good team win.

I agree, but to want the coach fired and deride the players is completely the opposite of being a fan. I could see being upset if we had a terrible coach or our players were lazy, but we won a game against a team with some weapons in their home stadium. I want LSU to win 50-0 every game, but I'm not freaking out when we win by 8 points.

sorry - i was never expecting "just a win". I was expecting a win AND ALSO seeing some basic improvements from last year.
Our punting game averaged 32 yards - NOT HAPPY WITH THAT
Our play calling sucked - NOT HAPPY WITH THAT
we didnt utilize our skill players - NOT HAPPY WITH THAT
we couldnt establish a run game - NOT HAPPY WITH THAT
the defense was out of position often - NOT HAPPY WITH THAT
the defense struggles big time with tackling - NOT HAPPY WITH THAT

Not true. Well, maybe some analysts, but I'm categorizing the fans deriding the team and coaches for an 8 point win as being idiots. Don't misunderstand.
