La Tech or Toolame would give us better game- the Colorado fb program is a train wreck right now, can't even afford to whack their coach.

There was. LSU's adding the home & home with UW Huskies killed it.

I think they cancelled it to play a home and home with Hawaii.

Think they "postponed" it to play Fresno. Contract was never signed for LSU

LSU’s determination to play football on the West Coast for the first time in 25 years will put the Tigers’ previously scheduled Rocky Mountain high on hold.

According to Verge Ausberry, LSU’s senior associate athletic director who handles football scheduling, a planned home-and-home series with Colorado for 2011 and 2012 will be postponed.

This is in part because LSU will open the 2009 season on Sept. 5 at Washington, with the Huskies visiting Tiger Stadium on Sept. 29, 2012.
