It's just too bad that Miles' idea of "the kitchen sink" is some dives and toss plays.

You mean the super secret playbook will finally be revealed? Maybe Shepard running the wildtiger instead of ware for a play.

I disagree.

Coach Miles will wisely decline to implement the Forward Pass, and Run the Foot-Ball to Victory.

Why mess with the successful formula?

I hope the sink is 1st down passes and some counters.
No need to be getting desperate like Nicky 11-5-11 unless the score is getting out of hand.

He had already beat them at BDS. Why would he think he had to throw the kitchen sink on 01/09. He had the better team.

Hope he hits Saban in the head with it and knocks him out for the duration of the game.

Maybe because he's coaching past the Pop Warner level?

This is exactly what Miles thought...and still thinks.

And, like him, you just don't get it.

I agree, just like last year for the NCG. He had 5 weeks to prep and he broke every trend and the O looked like the run and gun instead of 5 yrds and a cloud of dust. Your right Miles was sooo smart we crossed the 50 once and had 100 yrds total offense for the whole game.

Miles went with the gameplan that beat bama on the road a couple months before...tough to blame him for that. Blame him for not making in-game adjustments, but the fact is be beat Saban in his own house with that very game plan. Also credit Saban for having on hell of an offense dialed up. As for 11/3....none of that matters.

who would be that foolish to think you could play nick saban twice and he wouldnt be ready the 2nd time to stop what you did the 1st time.

Wait i guess we know that anwser.

Well we're huge underdogs in this game

That wasn't the case before

The point is to win the game, not to alter the game plan based on Vegas' predictions. I'd argue that after you're down two scores in a low scoring game, you're a huge dog and should be doing all in your power to change the outcome of the game. I hope that we are prepared to throw the kitchen sink at Alabama next week, I'm concerned, however, that we're going to try and run the sink over them again.

This year I think the coaches know that they might have to take more chances to beat Bama. Surprise onside kicks, fake punts, trick plays, whatever. You only need to execute one of those plays to capture momentum and change the game in your favor.

And the coaches didn't realize this in the 4th quarter of the NC game? This is why I won't be surprised if we run the same bland ineffective offense.

You are just smarter than everyone. Must be a good coach.

Yeah. That's why it's frustrating, because it seems so obvious to so many.

He's going to bring everything we have. He knows what this game means and is far too smart a coach to rely on what clearly has not worked offensively. Expect trick plays, new looks and everything in between.

The game on 1/9 meant more than this one, and he totally relied on what did not work offensively in that one. Face it. Les is not that smart and he will play "not to lose." Expect the same unimaginative, boring, dysfunctial offense we've seen for the better part of five seasons. I truly hate to burst your bubble, but there is no secret playbook or some magic dust that CLM is going to sprinkle on the field to ignite the putrid offense he has created. I will gladly eat crow if I'm wrong here, but...

Many have eaten crow around these parts. You will too.
