That's arguably my biggest beef with this year's team. Good teams are supposed to get better as the season progresses. We have been steadily getting worse.
It's weird because we clearly were improving after those first few games, we got to 6-1, we were easily beating aTm at aTm until the 3rd quarter, and then we started sucking on both sides of the ball. They look like they have lost confidence in what they are doing.

Fans (as they are customarily do) continue to bash the starter and pine for a backup. We don’t really have a viable backup that can transition to a starter role in the sec. The proof is on the pudding. We lost our only legit option (Howard). With the new era of cfb, very few teams have a backup plan that would allow them to stay afloat. Believe me, I’ve seen it here in Ga with the much documented struggles of Carson Beck. Read the tea leaves- there is a plan to help Nuss improve his draft stock and leave for Underwood to take the keys. We may need to get a portal qb or 2 in case of injury. Kelly and the program are putting all their eggs into the Bryce basket. We have 3 games left and like it or not, Nuss is the starter and gives us the best chance to win. However slim that seems right now.
