I taught my grandpa about YouTube and made his year

Paw Paw is 80 years old and not too familiar with technology. My grandparents only had internet for about a year and still struggle with the Roku and Netflix and their limit of technology was pressing record on the dvr. He records the games and watches them throughout the week.
I was visiting last weekend and showed him how to work YouTube and how he could watch old games whenever he wants.
Fast forward to earlier today and when I go visit he’s watching Florida@LSU 2007 and when I left he was putting on Super Bowl 44. He called me tonight ecstatic that for the first time in 17 years he finally got to rewatch the Bluegrass Miracle.
I got the warm fuzzies thinking about it and how he gets to relive all those moments after all these years.

Haha, sounds like he and my pawpaw would have got along...
By Wednesday, pawpaw could tell you every play they ran in the game.
Kept thinking last night how happy he would have been watching that game. He passed away in the spring.
No way I could have ever taught him how to use youtube...only thing a computer was good for to him was for Solitaire and a submarine game...lol!

Right before my grandmother passed I showed my grandparents how to use iTunes to listen to old music. We spend about two hours together with me playing every random song requested. I'll never forget it. That's something you'll never forget too. Enjoy every moment you have with him!
