Someone has to when people attempt to post their opinions as fact when they have no real creditability nor do they make sense.

LSU is not very good anymore.
Penn St. either, should be a good one.

Meh, me, I'm wondering how bad a team has to be to have two losses in the Big 10.

Man, you don't have to reply to every post and give play by play too. If I didn't know he was dead, I would think you were Howard Cosell. No Offense.

"No offense?" That's one big thing Miles & the LSU coaches need to fix before facing Penn State.

I was just saying to all the people that are like Sec overall is better jus because of talent. The elite teams in the sec are better then the elite in the big 10 but the middle of the pack in the conferences are about equal. Big 10 teams have trouble with teams who have great athletes.

Myth.
the Big 10 puts A LOT of players in the NFL.

Here's former Penn St. players in the NFL.

My brother and I are looking through the statistics on Rivals.com, and I must say that LSU is rather poor in every category.

Except the stat that in nine games this year, LSU scored more points than its opponents.

You are Penn State. We are LSU.

LSU wins.
/thread

P.S....

Seriously......you little Pennslyvania pussies lost TWO games to Big Ten Opponents?????? BWAAAAAAAA-HAAAAAAA-HAAAAAAAAA-HAAAAAAAAA!

LSU is going to skull frick Penn State if Jo Pa has the courage to show up.

Now, let's begin a discussion on the "upside" of each program over the next five years.....and never mind LSU already has a MASSIVE recruiting advantage over you........Keep talking smack silly little "nittany lion:" Face the FACT that over the last decade you are facing a superior program, and over the last 60 years, you are facing a program that is AT LEAST your equal.

Stupid yankees....Trix are for kids.

Ah more of the same "logic" got to love it, no real argument so lets just bash because do not know enough about the team you are facing. Silly little Tigger fan... you might be part of the fair weather fan like the guy earlier in the thread.

Been a fair weather fan for over 43 years, good and bad times....with a family legacy going back 60 years....so yeah...just a "fair weather fan."

I've watched Penn State about 6 times this season. LSU is better and faster. With a month to prepare, no contest. The vitriolic response on my part was in response to an arrogance where none is appropriate or warranted on the part of the original poster.

Actually the OP's question was legit in response to him not watching much LSU football and wondering. Something that many fans across the nation have wondered too after watching LSU on tv on a couple occasions this year.
The LSU fan is coming across as the arrogant, pretentious one in this thread as no one respects what Penn State has done. LSU and Penn State have beaten the exact same amount of opponents with a .500 or better record. The Big 10 has an even record with the SEC in the past 20 Games and all-time it actually leads the head to head games.

Why should anyone? Tell ya what...beat our arse on the field and then I'll eat crow. After Florida, Bama, and the rest of the SEC schedule, as muddled up as we've been, Penn State does NOT scare most LSU fans.

So explain why Penn State should be scared of LSU?,
LSU has not proved anything to anyone? SEC has been down the past 2 years and especially this year.

Does it matter that over past 20 games Big 10 is dead even with SEC. Or does that just mean SEC will dominate Big 10 as someone said earlier in thread.

I guess all the rationale posters have gone to bed and it is just the kids, fair weather fans, bandwagon fans up now.

Also considering reading comprehension, I did not say the SEC sucked but apparently insecurities are rising and that is what some are seeing.

With at least one victory and two appearances in the BCS Championship game in the last two years (2008 and 2009 seasons) I guess the SEC will have to live with the fact that that's now considered down for our conference.

I don't think I'm going too far out on a limb to suggest that this would be considered a tremendous accomplishment for the Big 10 (No victories and no appearances in the same time span)

I am not as comfortable about facing Penn State as I would be about Ohio State, and I don't know why (especially since OSU beat PSU). I don't think this game will be a walk in the park. In fact, it may well break our streak of bowl wins. If PSU blows out LSU, though, Miles will really be in a bind. All he has left is his bowl superiority.
