So the lesson is that losing that game in Tuscaloosa was actually beneficial than winning. Makes sense.

1) Bama is going to be sweating all up until the announcement. We--if we keep winning--will not

2) Is is not cool to win the SEC anmyore? When did y'all decide this didn't matter?

I can't see a 41-7 loser to Texas Tech, at home, jumping over Bama. The Okies get nothing with a win over a weak Big-12 north (Nebraska?) team. Their win over Okla. State is now marginalized. It will be the gumps in N.O., I believe. Tigers!

If LSU lost v. Bama, would LSU still be ranked no. 2?

Now's not the time to ask this.....

You are correct. It was 41-38. "My Bad". Anyhow, Okie still ain't gonna make it, even if they win out. A one-loss Bama (to the No. 1 team in the country, in OT) vs. Sooners who lost to a TT team that lost to OSU by what, 66-6 (?), AT HOME, and who has lost their best player for the season, will not be i the BCS, even if they do win out. Book it.
