I see why Lane brought Dottery over to LSU

Dottery chewed arse to the whole defensive side of the ball after McNeese 2nd TD.
Last two times Mcneese came to BR, we won 34-7 and 32-10. Lane knows that is not the standard here. Lastnight had many positives, but the engagement and leadership from Lane and top players were beautiful to see.

Dottery > Whit and I love Weeks

When weeks went out last year the defense looked mentally lost.
It’s one game against mcneese but we looked much more controlled/in sync. Probably a combo of a lot of things but dottery is a big one.

Agreed. You’ll get downvoted to hell saying that but you and I actually understand football and how to evaluate talent and it’s the truth.

I think Benefield is also a big leader back there we didn’t have last year

Singleton is looking like a machine as well

You will get downloaded to hell, but the best ability is availability. My response: glad we don't have to choose
