80s, one of the Tiger players kept notes thru the season and wrote a book later. I believe it was during the Dalton James era. Wish a senior had done that this past season, imagine how many copies would have sold.

How do you know someone didn’t? Would you really expect that the notes would be made into a book, edited, and published less than one month from the end of the season?

Would be pretty cool. Particularly if a number of players would do it at the same time. I’d be interested to see how there perspectives differed

Are you thinking of John Ed Bradley's "It Never Rains in Tiger Stadium?" I think he finished in '79.

No not Bradley's book. The one I have and can't find at this moment, was in the Dalton James era. May have been an offensive linemen who wrote it.
