I watched my first LSU game (first college game of any kind) in 1948 = Y.A. Tittle.

I have been a die-hard fan since then - graduated in 1960 after some great years.

I have ALWAYS thought of LSU first as a defensive power - and second as a pound-the-rock offense.

I have NEVER through ahead to our offensive prowess - always just hoping our defense can hold the other team to a low enough score to give us a chance at winning.

NOW - this year - I am looking forward to us scoring TOUCHDOWNS - early and often
