Not that the offense had anything to do with it, but the MNC is not the best argument in favor of any coach. If it weren't for a miracle of circumstance, they would never have backed into the game. Losing to Arkansas should have ended LSU's MNC hopes.
That said, Les Miles could be the greatest bowl coach we ever had.
