Why no JJ earlier in the season? Did he not show potential in practice? Did the coaches see the potential but thought JLee and/or Hatch would be serviceable so lets red shirt JJ or did they say hey, "RS Fresh, True Fresh., chances are we get the same results W/L wise so why not just red shirt JJ."

Just trying to figure how the coaches could not play this guy. Imagine if he 6/7 starts under his belt right now instead of 2.

Then why didn't you search for the old thread and read that?

I know, but in his second start ever he looked a thousand times better than JLee. How could the coaches not see this?

JJ wasn't just a little better, he was way better. More accurate on the run and throwing over the middle.

Fire Miles and Crowton, we can find someone better, look at Auburn for example.

This is a cop out. It's not like he magically became ready during the Ole Miss game as oppose to the Tulane game. Just Les thinking Lee was the better player. He's one of those coaches who loves his QB.

My 9 year olds comment at Ole Miss game. 1st qtr

"The LSU QB is ok, he throws the ball good but not good enough for them to catch it. I think they need another qb"

Not sure coaches were/are sold on his entire body of work. Looked bad in Ole Miss & Ark games, as the game went on. Only posted 3 pts in last night's game in 2nd half. The offense seems to stall as the game goes on with JJ. Maybe why Miles went for the fake, and kept JJ in the whole game. To see how he would do.

In a close game, or if we trail, IMHO not sure what happens with JJ at the helm

wasn't jefferson hobbled by an injury for a good portion of the first half of the year?

I think they were claiming an injury, hoping for a redshirt

Yeah, but you put JJ in earlier in the season and he's got 6 or so starts under his belt w/ most likely the same 7-5 record.

maybe, maybe not.

all I know is JJ is a better QB than JL, and i've been saying that for some time now.
