I watched the sacks that Clemson got on Fields, all eligible recovers were 10+ yards down field. No slanting receivers, dump offs, or check down to the backs. This is not a problem LSU will have..

If LSU can hold them to under 40, they win. Thats it...its literally that simple.

Joe Burrow’s awareness in the pocket is heads and shoulders above what Justin Fields is. They won’t be able to blitz Burrow like that without giving up some big plays. Not to mention the chemistry Joe has with the receiving core is on a whole different level. They know where they need to be on the field to get open and keep Joe out of trouble.

Herbie or one of the other analysts said it best last night, Joe knows where he is going with the ball as soon as he feels pressure. Fields, whether due to design of offense or just not being as sure, holds the ball quite a bit longer than Joe.

If LSU O-line continues to give Joe 3 seconds (or 9 seconds to scramble when the defense only rushes 3 or 4), he will continue to shred defenses.

And probably would have won if their recover and an are on the same page. I have even more confidence in Burrow against Clemson after watching fields last night.
