His best chance is to swing at the first good meatball he gets cause when he gets behind, it won't be a good outcome mostly.
Many times is is just late in the curveball and he is trying to pull the ball on top of that. It doesn't take much to be late and miss it by a mile. Jmo of what I see. He stayed focused on defense and made several good plays on defense. To me, playing good defense is universal in any sport in order to consistently win. Good defense wins titles. Just hope we can put the ball in play more on Monday.

It was a defensive game as predicted....pitching beats hitting ERVY TIME.
Remember, great batters are successful only 30% of the time....

Big surprise this year for me is our defense. Those double plays yesterday were beautiful. Milam is a stud at SS. Dickinson at 2nd makes plays every game. Jones at first is way more solid than expected. Hell, even our pitchers field from the mound.
Outfield could be worrisome but as of late, spot on. Compared to years past, this defense is fun to watch. And I always feel confident with them. Braswell is MUCH better at third, than SS. Jay figured everything out.

Also we did do better in game 2. Only k'd 7 times not 16 and got 12 hits. Congrats to da Tigers!
