I thought for sure you were going to say because we lost Beckwith and maybe Byrd to injuries.

With bad QB play and DB play to go along with USC and Oklahoma blowing their teams out, I feel just down today

bullshite like this is what makes me laugh when people try to claim we have "the best fans anywhere"

Hatch was bad and Hawkins was worse. I dont care what the score was...it was North Texas State! I was just watching the game thinking that Auburn is going to eat Hatch alive by putting 9 guys in the box, stopping the running game and forcing Hatch to throw it down the field. Hatch COULD NOT DO against App ST and North Texas! How can anyone feel good about this guy? Oh yeah, bench Hawkins and start Peterson!

I love LSU but we are spoiled. This is what winning a NC does to your fans. The real season starts next week. It doesn't matter what happens this year I will still be a Tiger fan....I wish I could say the same thing for everyone here.

Qb play was not that bad

Yeah, it was that bad.

Hatch got better as the game went on.

Well I guess so, he could hardly help getting better, there's no way he could get worse.

. Other than the int (which was a stupid throw) he didn't look horrible.

That's like saying "Except for Sunday nights, I don't beat my wife"

Yeah, he looks OK without the interception. Maybe when he throws three interceptions in the Auburn game they'll give us a do-over for each of them. But I doubt it.

He's bad under pressure. He doesn't know how to take a sack.

Get over it........you wanna feel down, I'll send you some LSU games from the early '90s.....then maybe you can appreciate what we have and what we have had since 2000 a little more...

I am 36 years old, so I clearly remember those days. This just in...LSU talent level then was about as good North Texas' today, so spare me.

Oh yeah, being that you born in 1981, I am sure you really remember those days, especially the Archer days.

It wasnt the DBs, it was #29, Chris Hawkins...was horrible. I counted at least 9 passes completed in front of him by 1-AA quality players. How many sacks were there?

maybe that was the game plan...their longest play was 14 yards. I'll give Auburn all the 1 yard pass plays they want to run. Maybe we would be better with Luke Sanders back...

OK, so let's say we beat Auburn by 10. Will people on here still be complaining because Auburn won their last game 3-2 against Miss. St.

By chance, did you attend the game or is your lamentation based on hearing the game over the radio? If the latter, you need to understand that the announcer has a tendency to make things sound a whole lot worse than they are.

Last year under Pelini, LSU brought the house! This lining 10 yards off the receiver and allowing the completion is what LSU did pre-saban! Get aggressive and dictate to the offense with our defense! Hell, did LSU blitz at all?
