Uh, no. Kneeling on it wouldve given Iowa the ball at modfield with time for one play. We had to punt to run off more time.
Don't give Miles a pass on this. With his history of time management troubles, do you honestly think he was on top of this? Looked to me like he didnt realize that taking a knee 4 times in a row wouldnt run out the clock, then he realized it at the very end and that's why we looked in a panic on fourth down. Even Tirico and Gruden made a small comment about it.
