I am not so sure about the transfer portal!

I don’t know, this kind of stuff could be epidemic going forward when a 1st year guys don’t like what they see early on! I really don’t know if this is good for the sport or the colleges!

It’s going to prevent coaches from lying to get a kid on campus eventually. It will make recruiting harder, but certain coaches won’t be able to sell their BS to these kids without backing it up.

I think they should have to stay at the school they signed with for at least a year. I mean, this contract should work both ways. He still counts against the school’s 25 ( don’t know about the 85).
The school has everything to lose and the kid can do whatever he wants. Not a good message to be sending to these young men.

the ncaa does everything it can against the kids interest, why should the school go further than that?
these kids aren't obligated to perform for you. if they aren't happy here, I hope they find playing time and excitement somewhere else

Keep saying that when a few kids in a year that have signed with us decide to transfer before they’ve been to one practice. Hell, a whole class could do it. Where are you when it happens?

Wait. You're saying that a player on the roster deciding that he wants to transfer will prevent coaches from lying to recruits to get them on campus? I'm missing that connection, but I'm willing to hear the reasoning. I think I'm just overlooking it.

Joey, are you talking about processing kids like Saban does? Og course he does. So does LSU. Every school does. Maybe I'm not getting your point. If it's processing players, it's been going on everywhere for 50 years.
