True.

But since we are rolling with hypotheticals in this thread, do you think lsu wins at bama this year if lee stayed in there the whole time?

for the worst. This is my point in moving on. It was so mind boggling, that the only thing you can do move on.

I can see what Miles wanted to do all year. what he saw in Jefferson is something we may never know. He was the absolutely the wrong guy to be the QB.

But between the fricked up gameplan. The fricked up QB.....

I don't know. Again, it was so bad....wipe it clean and move on. How can that not be the only thing you can do?

This is one of my two main beefs with miles this past game:

1. HE GAVE UP. This is unacceptable at all times. At least go down swinging.

2. AFter dominating opponents and not having anybody come within 15 points of us, we TOTALLY switch offensive philosophies and QBs for some fricking reason.

Wow, you have terrible logic.

Harbaugh wasn't a candidate. I've never said I'm ready to fire Miles or even implied the word "yet" because I enjoy the stability that the program has.

You just get your panties in a wad over every post tht doesn't say this:

"Still a great season guys. WE GONNA BE 14-0 NEXT YEAR!!!!!111eleventyeleven1!!!!

i don't know. JJ made a few plays but wasn't elite by any stretch of the imagination. if we lose on 11/5 then we slide into the title game the same way bama did, anyway

but lee was bad, and he was benched for JJ. THAT IS A GOOD MOVE. ineffective starter, to try the backup and the wrinkles he brings

the issue is that JJ then became the starter, and when he sucked, we did not do the same thing we tried on 11/5

There's no way to know that. Probably not IMO. It was the right call to pull Lee as he was WAY off his game that night.

But, by the same token, JJ was off Monday night and should've been pulled.

The main thing is this: The offensive philosophy should've remained the same regardless of QB. I would be curious to see how JJ would've played going out of the Iform that Lee was running.

then we slid back into miles' comfort zone, which has been the root of our problems, and THAT is the worry

That's all I'm saying. But me asking Miles to improve and hire a competent offensive coachign staff is "bashing the program and being the most negative poster blah blah balh?"

Every negative comment that has been posted has been about 1 game.

Not 14.

It's ridiculous.

...and yes, when shite happens in my life thats out of my control, I do move on. I don't sit there and dwell on things that I can't change.

People that will sit here and do this and become angry and depressed over this is their own problem.

couldn't have said it better. The only reason we shook off the "two loss Les" legacy was because he went into attack mode at the beginning of the year and had a coherent offense.

That's the point of a fricking message board or Tiger "RANT"

I can sit here and dwell and say things that Les should improve or try to change for next year. That's called fandom brah. It doesn't mean I wasn't upset we loss or that I like losing or that I didn't enjoy the first 13 games of the season as much as you did.

So hypothetical... what if ole steve doesnt get the same players in here and we dont have the same teams form 08-09 to 11-12... that miles has. Then he still wins 3 Nat titles?

He's recruiting well by USC standards. I'm sure he would have no problem recruiting here.

At south carolina? frick they're just lucky to go to bowl games considering their facilities and history and recruiting budget.

South Carolina is enjoying the most success they've EVER had.

As far as SEC Championships go, he fricking ran shite in the 90s.

Here is the question: Would Les be as successful at South Carolina as Spurrier is? If you're being honest with yourself, the answer is no.

If he were as good as you claim, it doesn't matter where he is at.

What is their recruiting budget? Do you know?

West Virginia was a play or two from a National Championship appearance in '05.

Facilities?

Exactly my point. Spurrier is doing phenomenally well considering the money/talent that is available to USCe.

Like I said, name 5 other coaches who could do better than him at USCe.

not arguing that.

But it's not like South Carolina is bare of talent and facilities.
