So if Todd Graves (or whoever). Says to fontenot and Dugas. I’ll pay you 200K to stay another year to do a commercial for canes. Totally legal now correct?

I would think that outright is illegal. Now if they would just so happen to stay and just so happen to get deals, that’s different.

That’s kinda my point. It sounds great to keep LSU players but once you start talking BIG money there’s no telling where this leads.

College football could well be ruined just like professional sports within the next 5 years.
Look at how obnoxious the commercialism is inside Tiger Stadium during a game today compared to 20 years ago.

So people's eyes are starting to open up now... CFB as we know it is over. Have no idea if it helps or hurts LSU.
I used to say that if we beat Bama then we dont have to listen to the phrase "business decision" from recruits that go there instead of LSU. Now, however, business decision and strong arse offer are the mantra of the day for all.
