It is what it is.

LSU is like Cancun or Destin
UT is like a good day in Galveston.

From what I could tell, there weren’t many places for people to set up on campus. There were a few food trucks...lot’s of people walking around with nowhere to go. It sort of felt like walking around at Astro-World without rides. Lame.

Everything on campus was corporate and pre paid tent setups. They had a cool street called Bevo something or another where there was some activity happening. Beer being sold everywhere you could imagine. But just wasn’t a big game vibe in the slightest. Not to mention tailgate didn’t get revved up till like 1pm.

This.

Lame. We were at a cooperate tailgate and campus was dead around 1:30. LSU folks were having a great time like always.

Not even in the same time zone as ours. Tailgating in a city sucks. Plenty tailgates in parking garages. We went to 5 different ones and only 1 of them had shade and grass to set up on. But we partied with their fans who were very gracious.

Everything I saw was corporate for the most part.
