Brady’s shelf life at LSU had expired and it was in the best interest of all for parting ways. However, he has gotten much more criticism for things that did not go right and little credit for the accomplishments during his tenure. No matter how good a particular season was it seems for many it all comes back to that last loss defining the season, whether it be UAB in the first round or UCLA in the Final Four. A lot of good things happened to get them to those points.

I'm not sure why you always want to throw bouquets at the man, but the real issue is the same issues plagued him throughout his time at LSU. The offense always struggled, he never really found an answer for a zone defense (Terry Martin nothwithstanding :zonebustertatftw:), and his end of game play against TAMU worked and saved his job even though it was terrible, lucky, and terribly lucky.

He put together a good resume here. It doesn't whitewash the legitimate problems his teams always had here. I think calling him a mixed bag is a tremendous compliment to him based on the other number of fair things you could call him.

Actual Attendance for that Zona game was less than 10K. Damn LSU fans are crappy.

That game was on the night of Winter graduation.

Excuses, excuses. BR at the time had at least a mil in the metro area and couldn't get 1% of that in the building against the #1 team in the country.

even some of our most recent 'good' crowds still are nothing to write home about.

look at the xavier game...half the crowd is playing on their smartphones the entire game. wine and cheese. being down near 10 most of the game didn't help but even when we got is close the atmosphere was decent at best.

brady dome deserves better although none of the remaining opponents, even tennessee who is playing much better, scream 'pack the pmac' but if we stay on this roll that tenn game will be a big one.

I watched Auburn beat MSU on Saturday and was jealous of their home crowd. Never thought I'd envy Auburn basketball atmosphere.

I remember the Tennessee game from 2006 having a rowdy crowd. we destroyed them 88-74 and that punk arse #23 fouled out, to the crowds enjoyment. What was his name? i think it started with a "B"...

ETA: yep. Bradshaw. What a POS, anyone remember him? I think he flipped off the student section or made some gesture after FINALLY making a shot after a streak of airballs.

I have it on good authority he did (and seem to remember it independently), but I could not find a pic. Sadly the internet constitution's first amendment is pix or gtfo. The law is immutable. Sadly, until I can confirm with pics, I must gtfo.
