re: How was your Gameday Experience?

We had a good experience in 402. Got there shortly after 12 noon and largely followed the rules. Played music and had a few drinks while the kids played catch. No one bothered us although the folks in the next car over said that they were scolded earlier in the day for removing an ice chest from their car (although I counted 4-5 visible from my vantage point). It won't happen due to the current political climate but the school should really be more effusive in permitting NFL style tailgating (i.e. no over the top setups, just at your parking space) - it would pump some life into an otherwise lifeless crowd.

The game itself was fine. No one wore a mask at their seat (thank God, it was hot). They should up the attendance to at least 40%, it wouldn’t be an issue at all.
My thoughts exactly.

Well if LA is in Phase 3, it should be 75%.
We can't have nice stuff like that because JBE.

My experience wasn’t bad. Getting to and from the stadium as well as parking for free off campus was a breeze. No tailgating is dumb, but I just watched games at home (live in BR) and got to the game about 30 minutes before kickoff. Concessions lines were long, but having vending machines available with no lines was awesome. No issues with bathrooms. No issues scanning tickets off of phone like I expected. No one wore masks in their seats. Stadium was mostly dead, but actually had some energy in it a few times before bad play by the team inevitably would let the air out of the balloon.
For the prices most people payed, there’s no way they’re getting their money’s worth. Atmosphere wise, it was similar to the ULL game I went to last year, which was enjoyable, but I only paid $20 for that game. At $90 face value, Tiger Fans are getting ripped off. That experience isn’t anywhere near worth what people are paying.

I went to the game. First home game since 2010 West Virginia and when I was a student I went to every single game. I went with some very good old friends I hadn’t seen in a while. I would rate my experience 10/10. But that’s just me. Really really enjoyable (for me)

the experience was certainly not worth the TAF/ticket prices.
Exactly why I pushed to next year. And if we’re still doing this shite again next season, I’ll push it again.
I’m not spending another dollar until the stands are full and the beer is flowing.
