Both of those criteria are important but the latter is the most important. SEC defenses have an entire off season to prepare for our offense. They will adjust. The "new ideas" part of the new passing game coordinator are very important to staying ahead of SEC defenses.

They still will not stop us if they have 2 years to study the defense because the main weapon was Chase burning them deep and Jefferson crossing the middle and Marshall in the corner of endzones. The only way to stop Chase deep is to double team him and then that safety is gone and Marshall is one on one, so ARIK will rule the middle. Then when they cannot stop that and put more DB's, or RB will slice through them.

All the teams in the back half of the schedule, including #2 & #4 has plenty of time to “adjust” the D. Auburn was the only team to come close. With a QB confident in his WR & his ability to deliver an accurate ball, all the D can do is slow it down. JB completed passes against 7 & even 8 defenders. Clemson gave up & went back to their base D in the 2nd half.

Many teams have similar schemes, but rarely the total level of talent of the ‘19 Tigers O. Just look at the number of O players invited to the combine. This will be a fun team to watch for a long time if O keeps recruiting at the current level.
