Win division or he's done.
Me and my friends (All LSU Alums, former athletes, GBFTL members) are all in up until the point that the team is mathematically eliminated from the SEC West Championship and loses to Alabama.

If and when that happens, we're all gonna be in with extreme prejudice for the firing of the HC!

We're all out of patience. Time for LM to either win the SEC or depart for greener pastures with better tasting green grass..........

Agree 100%. The quirky gimmicky act is old. I think fans that can take all aspects of coaching into account have had it. Does Les have what it takes to silence his critics on game day? I'll believe when I see it.

It is absurd to think that, should LSU go 10-2 and earn a New Years Six bowl bid, that Les Miles would be terminated and paid $12.8 million over the next 2.5 years to NOT coach LSU Football. There is ZERO CHANCE, in that scenario, that he would be terminated by his bosses. ZERO. Dr Alexander and the BOS isn't gonna terminate Les in that scenario even if the majority of LSU fans are demanding it.

Will LSU fans be satisfied at 10-2 in that scenario? Most would probably NOT be completely satisfied because the expectations are so high. But the future of Les Miles is not going to be determined by popular opinion of Les Miles.

therein lies the problem. i think we can all agree that it would appear 2017 will be a step back from 2016 from a talent perspective. so if we have all this talent and only go 10-2, the cycle will start all over again and we'll have to wait til 18-19-20 for him to possibly get is back to the spot we presumably are right now. OR, we cut ties because it'll be over at that point and the fanbase won't stand for down years in 17 and 18. rip the bandaid off.
