DL recruiting not nearly as bad as OL, but both not adequate in talent and numbers to make a difference.
Why doesn't the HC/RC understand that you need to be signing 5-7 OL's and 5-7 DL's every recruiting cycle or you'll run into a deficit due to injury, grades or an unspecified off the field discipline problem.
What, we got ONE Defensive Lineman committed now?
What about OL? Who is a difference maker there? Kardell Thomas from big bad Southern Lab? What's the competition like in that district? He'll be overwhelmed in the SEC. SOS Road Grader type with no pass blocking skills.
Who else? Where are the OL "Difference Makers?
Don't they play football in all 50 States?
