Nick wants nothing to do with coaching modern day NIL college football. It nullified his Art of War pre-season advantages with bag men, Dodge Chargers and all the other crap they got away with because Birmingham headquarters looked the other way and had the NCAA in their back pocket. That went away especially now with Texas swinging their big pockets in the SEC as well.

Is the contract even that bad anymore in relation to what other top coaches are currently making?
BK is like the 7th highest paid coach, right now.
The problem with Jimbo's contract was not the original deal. It was the extension A&M gave Jimbo after the COVID season.
As long as Woodward isn't extending BK, we are fine.
