I'm studying for the bar chief. If we were going to the BCSNCG I wouldn't be there

However, I'm also not a butthurt twat about going to the Chicken Bowl.

What is this a reference to?

Having passed the bar myself, um, chief, I am entirely unimpressed by this excuse.

Yeah, seems prudent to take 3 days off a month before the test to go to a football game

According to the Chick Fil A website, the SEC team is on the sideline featuring sections 130-140.

I think this is current

For such a mediocre team and/or a coach that will never win another championship in his career, you're interested in spending money to watch this garbage?

You'd be fine. I presume you are taking BarBri? Honestly, you can crack open the books two weeks in advance and still pass. That's not a testament to the genius of our profession, just an indication of how easy the test is. I went to law school in Chicago, so I took Illinois and the MBE, but I presume Louisiana can't be much harder. Trust me on this, a football game won't scuttle your career.

I think the strain of the season has caused a psychotic break with reality in some posters. This is something like the fourth statement falsely attributed to me in this thread alone. I have never said LSU is "garbage" nor I have I ever claimed that Miles will "never win another championship."

But even assuming that I DID believe those things - which I don't - I would still spend my money on LSU football because I support my alma mater. My objective view of the program and my passion for LSU football are two distinct things. I have loved and supported LSU football even when I've thought it was horrendous. If we become awful again, I'm certain I will continue to support LSU football.

Now, Prominentwon, given your expansive and dogged virtual idolatry of the team, I can rest assured that you're coming to Atlanta, yes? Or are you studying for the bar, too? (That last clause is a joke, in case the tone is lost).

You don't hav to say it. Insinuation says enough.

I have a newborn. I'm not going anywhere until around mid April.

Can you please direct me to the post you are referring to? You may be conflating me with someone else. I don't recall making any posts about Jeremy Hill jumping over piles?

There will likely be tickets laying on the sidewalk like there were for the Towson game. Listening to the frickin chickin president's monotone message about how excited they are to have LSU tells me that they understand we are going to stay away in droves.

I feel sorry for the team, but I don't blame the fans one bit if they decide to pass on this game.

The place will be like a Clemson home game.

I'm gald we've cleared up the fact that you are clairyvoyant and that - rather than just accepting what I write at face value - you can intuit my true intentions.

Good luck with the newborn. Congratulations.

I was curious as to what caused this particular random accusation. I presume this is the thread you were referring to:

You'll note that I didn't even post in the thread. I figured you had confused me with someone else.

For a second, I was concerned that I had been posting in some RBV fueled fugue.
