Miles is not the OC, and we've never had a Harvin. Also, I know it's hard for some of you to understand, but oftentimes freshman are better in November than they were in September. That practice stuff actually helps.

Aside from the impact Shep has in a game with half a dozen or so touches, he'll have another benefit that won't be visible.
Teams will have to waste valuable practice time (only allowed 20 hours per week) preparing their D for how to handle Shep's playset when he comes in the game. That's time they won't spend on how to stop JJ, Scott up the middle, etc.
It's what I like about Crowton - he gives the defense so much to prepare for and they have so little time to do it.
