according to historical probabilities, he will most assuredly play in key spots this year...

The redundancy illustrates the intuity, eh?

but only as a backup, barring catastrophic injury.

Mentally JL is a very tuff dude. I hope good things happen for him. He's a fighter, I think he will see more playing time then people think.

he's a good kid with a good heart. He has a strong motor that never stops and he's a cerebral game manager/coach on the field.

I've mentioned this before and I still beleeve it...JL has seen Aub, UF, Bama, and UGA. He will be an outstanding QB. And keep in mind that Lester WILL play 2 QBs, so you will get your chance to see an improved JL. That experience that started his down fall in the Swamp will pay off.

He may have hit his ceiling in high school (ala Al Bundy). Just kidding, of course. I think he is most likely better and will perform better this year than he did last year. I do not think that at any point this year, a large number of fans will be calling for him to start. I just can't imagine that happening unless JJ throws 3 int. per game (which I also don't see happening).

I really like JL, but as an SEC QB, I think he is done. With all the experience he's had, if he could not perform better than he did against LaTech (he was terrible), I can't see him getting much better.
