and his job description involves destroying LSU.
Tell this to Verge Ausberry!

Well you're stupid. Plain and simple.

LSU fans defending $abun or bama really are pathetic.
Where did I "defend" either? He's an a-hole. I hate Bama. BUT - Bama is THE premier program in the country and the only ones standing in our way from being just that. Saban is the reason they are where they are. Do you not see the connection there?

No, just that the Dolphins lured away our two best coaches. And yes, they were out two best coaches.
I guess I was confused as to what Shula had to do with anything.

He and LSU were good for one another. Had he not shown up, who knows where LSU would be now.
I do not hate him, but respect the hell out of the CFB genius he is.

The real pathetic thing was the statue, so obviously guilt tripping him into never leaving.
And yes. He hates their fans. He and the team are champs, but he is wallowing in miserable redneck hell. His life is like a Twilight Zone episode.

That was the part about them also supplying Bama with coaches. Sure, Shula sucked, but they didn't know that at the time, obviously. He had the name and CFB is 80% recruiting. I'm sure they thought it was a great fit.

Wow, this takes delusion to a whole new level.

An egotistical money whore. And Miles isn't?? Don't they make in the same ballpark?? Hasn't Miles leveraged phantom UM and Ark offers for more jack and years?? Love how Saban is portrayed as an arse, money lover, liar etc but Miles is not. Didn't he leave players at OSU whom thought he would be there forever?? What about the stories of past indiscretions at UM which is a big reason he did not get the job there. Miles is just not as rough around the edges. But they are more similar than different.

I don't hate Saban and think he is a great coach. Is he an ahole? Probably, but I don't have to deal with him so I could careless.
In saying that if he isn't a Tiger he is Tigerbait!

I'll always be grateful for his making LSU relevant again. He built the program that we have now. Les has been a decent steward, but he has left a lot on the table. LSU should pursue him for the AD position when he retires from coaching.

Hate the Gumps....not saban...yes he's a prick....but as others have said, he brought us to prominence again.

Hate is a strong word.
I dislike him intensely. I don't like HOW he left LSU. His head was up his arse when he coached the game against the Buckeyes because his head was already in Miami.
I had several interactions with Saban where he acted like a pompous arse. I was trying to get an autograph for a kid and he was up on a stage (otherwise he would have been the same height as me). He patted me on the head (like he was consoling me) as if I were a child and said he couldn't do any more autographs.
I don't have anything Saban in my house, not even the picture of him holding up the trophy of LSU.
