What's a realistic expectation of how long LSU will be able to keep Cam Cameron?

Search function.
To answer though a long while. He's not a good HC and we pay him a lot to coach the O.

Not at this rate. The NFL will come calling within 2 years IMO.
ETA: I really really really hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully he is here throughout A. Jennings career. A 3 year starting QB, with a solid Coordinator/QB coach would be awesome.

I worry a lot more about an NFL team calling him for an OC job rather than a school calling for a HC. If he is happy
At the college ranks then I expect him to be here at least 4 years, but if he's looking to get back in the NFL then I think we have to hold our breath every offseason

As long as he keeps making over a million a year(which starts next season), he's not going anywhere

Auburn didn’t pay their Cam as much.. It was close but LSU's Cam is paid a little more.

This. The guy was in the NFL for 12 years, 1 as an HC, and many others as an OC. I don't think he had any intention of coming back to CFB until the Ravens took the rare step of firing their OC 3/4 into the regular season. His work with LSU's abysmal offensive scheme, but moreso his work with ZM may be enoug to get him a job in the NFL next year. There are alot of teams with young QB's in the league now, and he's got a track record of doing great things with QB's

I think its possible he stays as long as Les does. He has had his runs in the NFL. He isn't going to get a Head Coaching job there. I think he may ride it out here with Les. He has shined while at LSU to say the least.

With him being good friends with CLM I just don't see him leaving soon. He makes good money, less pressure to succeed and has a chance to effectively progress many young players into superstars.

at least thru next season.

I'm hopeful that he enjoys obliterating CFB defenses more than facing the challenges that NFL defenses present. There's also a hell of a lot more scrutiny in the league. Maybe he's at the point in his career where he just says to himself, "Hey, this is fun. I could do this for quite a while." Maybe he really likes Louisiana and wants to settle down here. Maybe.
