Because some programs understand you can get insurance for your players and others have coaches who change their mind every other day about what type of offense they want to run

LSU develops players quicker than Clemson. This is what Negatigers would have said about Clemson if their players left early.

Read this article dumbass.
that article predicted 2-3 guys to leave who ultimately stayed. what was it supposed to tell us?
read this one, it's a bit more up to date ESPN hates LSU

not to repost ...
but I posted this earlier ...
it applies to Clemson
.....................
I feel each player asks himself this question ?
How likely is that I will really play in the NC ?
If they are on a team that has been in it, or close to it, they will believe that it can be done and could possibly stay; however, if it along shot, or very long shot and they can not visualize the possibility, they will likely go for the NFL $.
Teams like Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Georgia have an easier sale, because they are likely, or it is likely possible that they will be in it....it is a matter or "probabilities".

Return to Clemson = decent chance to win National Championship.
Return to LSU = zero chance to win National Championship.
It’s not a great mystery.

Definitely something shady going on especially when those are higher rated ones than the ones leaving LSU
I'm assuming you really meant something shady at LSU. Like O and his bullshite making it hard to justify playing for the man when you can go make a couple mil right quick.

but did they think they could repeat ???
remember the QB position.
I am just saying that is is a much easier "selling job" to have them stay if they see themselves in the NC game .. never dismissed the allure of BIG MONEY, not do I blame some of them.
I think the programs I mentioned sorta of sell the idea from day 1, that an NC should be their ultimate college career goal for the incoming class and they build on that.

because they know there is turmoil with the LSU fball organization right now.

This has been going on at LSU for the last 7 years or so. Not just this year. Turmoil has nothing to do with why 95% of our Juniors leave every year.

We can only promise getting beat by Bama and going to a second or third tier bowl. That's all we have.

Yea, because playing for a college ring > playing in the league rofl!

Well if they stay at other schools but leave LSU, then what is the reason?

By all accounts he was expected to lead LSU to another NC game.

Mett ... yes, but to many pieces missing for him to get there.
it's the concept...
if they feel they can get there, they MIGHT stay
if it not perceived as a "somewhat" almost sure thing, they will go and chase the NFL $
