So uneducated observations can now predict future development? So close to his ceiling is Harris?

Since you're so knowledgeable, what is your plan if Harris starts and struggles in 2015? Move on to McMillan or a true freshman?

That is Miles an Cam's problem and nothing to do with my opnion or yours for that matter. Their jobs are on the line not mine.

I hope to god you're kidding. IF not, you just qualified as the dumbest poster in the history of this site....and that is saying something.

Insert Jefferson or Lee here. They were still able to navigate us to a Title game in 2011 with little surrounding offensive talent.

Because I said that if Jennings develops into the same type of QB that has played in the last 3 NCs for LSU, that we can play in another NC?

OK

I've done my share of coaching over the last 30 years.....so while I'm not an expert, I'm certainly not uneducated either.
And I'm not predicting the future, I'm looking at what is right in front of us now.
I suppose you could be right, but then again, Obama might actually turn out to be a decent president too.

Point taken....BUT...we all saw how that turned out in the end....not to mention the fact that those two guys just happened to be surrounded by one of the best teams in our history on both sides of the ball.

Insert Jefferson or Lee here.

Lee hit for a high percentage. He was named to the all senior SEC team.

Until he was beat up on a late hit that was not called, in the Bama game, he was doing fine.

You crack me up...

NOWHERE have I seen ANY indication that AJ will even be as good as JJ... And that aint saying much....

No we can't...Maybe Harris, But at the rate AJis going 9-3 is about the best you will get....

Jennings can be effective for us.

To the tune of 8-4 and 9-3 type seasons.....

By saying Jennings has hit ceiling, you are predicting future success (or lack thereof). Plenty of QBs have had underwhelming years only to rebound the next season. I'll believe Jennings is capable of this until I see the 2015 product.

Defense, yes. The offense was average. Only Reuben Randle was an exceptional talent.

Then we get rid of Miles and get a coach who can recruit and develop a decent SEC QB.... Its pretty simple... Even for a sunshine pumper as yourself.........

In his last year as our QB. Surely I don't need to mention the criticism he received from '08-'10.

No dumbass.. He is saying that AJ doesn't have what it takes TO develop into one of those QB's. and BTW AJ will NEVER come close to matching what Mauck, Flynn, or LEE were as qb's for LSU... He is ZERO threat to opposing defenses and will remain that way cuase Miles will never trust him enough to open the playbook..... Its all about playing NOT TO LOSE with this QB.....

Awesome idea. Let's get Mark Richt. Matthew Stafford, Aaron Murray, Hutson Mason, Joe Cox.

Surely we'd win all kinds of hardware with him!

True and by far. I don't see how that even can be debated.

Lee was certainly better in '11 than in '08

JL's play in 2011, but for Bama, can't even be compared to what he produced in 08, 09, or 2010. And JJ's play in 2011, but for the 2nd Bama game, was much better from 2010.

I would even add that RP play in 2007, showed improvement from his 1st season.

Chilge....Jennings is not even in Jefferson's range. JJ as a soph was a much better qb than Jennings...and its not that close. AJ has zero pocket awareness, is not accurate and is a liability on the field. He is not the future and if you like 9-4 type years, then he is your guy. After a couple years in the system, he is no further along than any qb on the team. Thats what you want? He is not a SEC qb...bottom line.

As a sophomore throwing to a Sr. and Jr. WR he was better, and as a Junior throwing to a Sr. and two So. WRs he was worse.

Please explain.

AJ has zero pocket awareness,

He was the least sacked QB for LSU in the last 10 years

So which QB is further along and how has he demonstrated this?
