Bishop averaged 36 min per game this season. No way he gets anything close to that at LSU. In their 3 toughest games he shot 5-16 vs VCU. 5-19 vs Dayton and 2-7 vs St Bona. He racked up big numbers against William and Mary, Coppin State, Delaware, UMBC, Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason and Navy. He also turned it over 4+ times per game. He shot 33% from 3. Against mediocre mid major teams. He was never gonna produce anything close to this years numbers with the schedule LSU plays.

That doesn’t mean he couldn’t be in the rotation

Who gives a shite about him averaging the same numbers

Cook is not a SEC caliber player. Sucks but it’s the truth.

This! To compete at the highest level you have to focus on winning now. That philosophy comes at the cost of player development, but that’s the new era of college basketball. You have to build a roster to compete now, which is what Wade is doing and has done since he’s been here.

I do enjoy the mindless casual fans that just now started paying some attention to LSU CBB and have these amazing takes that LSU needs to sign more 2/3* players to make LSU basketball good and consistent again - while they disappear as fans for years until we make the NCAAT and chime in again.

Yet, can't get over their own ridiculousness to grasp LSU basketball hasn't been this consistent since the early 90s.

What does that even mean

Y’all keep acting like the SEC is some exclusive conference

These shots about being 5’10” & mid majors is perplexing. These type of kids play well agsinst top conferences all the time

It’s like y’all don’t even watch college basketball

are you really sunshine pumping what James Bishop did at dweller George Washington. That team was absolutely terrible. Please don't post again.

St. Bonaventure beat George Washington 88-41 this year. Bishop wouldn't have sniffed the floor at LSU this past year. For someone to brag about the stats he put up at George Washington is laughable at best.

They aren’t good but then you consider LSU’s first guard off the bench shot 22fg% & 17 3pt%, and all of a sudden Bishop becomes Chris mullin

And then you adjust to SEC Comp & you prob have something similar to Pinson coming in, who shot 38fg% & 31 3pt in conference the last two seasons.

All of it is garbage
