A few things that might actually improve the defense.
1) Call plays that work to your players' strengths.
2) If a team figures your plays out, adjust and switch things up.
Two exaples:
A)short side option figured out by everyone, and
B)In game 2 Vandy figured out our WR screen plays and shut them down, yet Gary called it like 3 straight times for a net -4 yards or something like that
3) If your OL sucks at something make adjustments for it.
4) Use the middle of the field, in particular the TE.
5) NOT suck. LSU has no reason to not be top 40 in the country in offense with the talent they have.

Also no more 3 passes in a row when LSU is already in field goal range!!!

if we stop running options to the short side of the field on 3rd and 8 it will be better than 112th
