He struggled big time in the weekend series at Round Rock.

I still feel like they should be giving those at bats to Pearson and Kling until White is fully healthy. Doesn't matter how much White wants to play or show his toughness. Get him rest and when it feels back to 100% you get him back at 3B.

I don't disagree. I think he still needs at least some at bats while he recovers, but I hope he's not developing bad habits compensating for the shoulder.

I'll say this, watching Dugas handle 2b and some of the plays Nippolt has made at 3b, White may have to DH for the team's sake
Than you have the issue with Morgan being off 1B even though Jones has been adequate at 1b

Tough decisions to be made

I also think Pearson and Beloso need some opportunities against Right handed pitching to get more favorable matchups

I'm far from a expert, but he still appears to be " pressing" a bit hard at his appearances

He reminds me of a golfer trying to outdrive his past record. Once he settles down his power alone will do the work.
[quote]Most of his home runs were to CF and RF last year. Nothing about his swing this past week shows what he did last year...after he gets his first one out the way I think he'll relax some.

Exactly my impression

In my unprofessional opinion, he was pulling his front shoulder out too early on almost every pitch. He make pull contact on several well thrown down and in pitches before lining one for a double. I think if the pitcher had thrown one away, he would have struck out. But the pitcher was going with his best pitch and was very effective.
