How can you not have a LHP on the squad?

I don't know the pitching staff like some - maybe someone has been hurt all year - but how can a traditional powerhouse team not have a single left-handed pitcher? I don't remember seeing one pitch for LSU all year. All CPM needs to do is look at how pathetic our hitting is against left-handers and realize why they're so valuable - and essential to success.

How can a guy like Hal Hughes ever start at an LSU?
None of this makes any sense. None.

We have a LHP who is out for the season
Why we don’t have others per Skip Bertman:
You recruit the best of the best, not based on L or R
He said that’s how he recruited & how CPM recruits
This was very, very early in the season
He may say differently now

That's ridiculous. Baseball is very much a situational game once you reach the 7th inning. 25% of any pitching staff should be left-handers.
