This is a good question. In the regular season UGA gave up an average of 10.5 points per game. LSU put up 37 points on UGA in the championship game...this score brought UGA's average points per game to 12.5.

The point is not to disrespect Clemson as they are an extremely talented team and a successful program and they did beat the best the SEC had to offer last year...and...in the game that counted for all the marbles...they will not roll-over and they will be prepared.

But, the talking heads are all saying the same thing...#1 Offense against the #1 defense, which, of course, at face value is now true. But, it's only true because the #1 scoring defense (or at least close to the #1 scoring defense) in the country was UGA until they played LSU.

Ummmmm.....South Carolina was on Clemson’s schedule, so I guess Georgia couldn’t go undefeated.
