How about LSU's NIL rights. Reverse the prohibition.

Ok i do like LSU taking the high road here just for the record but lets see how this could work.
Name: Daniels can no longer use the LSU Name in any of his history records, videos, photos, speeches, write ups.
Image: Cant use any photo or video wearing an LSU uniform or on LSU property, or sanctioned games or practices LSU was a part of.
Likeness: in no way can any video or photo be altered that even resembles LSU or its colors in any promotional product or event daniels wants to pursue.
All Videos of any interviews of acceptance speeches must bleep out any use of LSU or it representatives (coaches / players) .
please note im not suggesting this just making an observation.

I thought NIL meant you purchased the rights to NIL for X period of time. Meaning, if we paid Daniels for 2 years, we can use anything created during those 2 years.

i totally agree with you on this so if daniels wants to use anything LSU related he can negotiate with LSU the use of our branding

Give his "team" what they want. Too late to do anything with current publications. As far as the website goes, scrub his name from all stats. Same for future media guides and programs. Instead label them as Jonh Doe QB 5. No pictures of him. No history before LSU. Just Label him as a transfer into the program. Cover his name on the LSU Heisman trophy with John Doe. No credit to Identify him. No alumni rights to athletic facilities or sideline access. Totally osctracize his arse unless he comes out with a full apology for his butt hurt childish antics. BTW one of my favorite LSU players of all time, but this BS changes everything. What about Matt Mauk or Matt Flynn. Not even close on the QB stats, but they managed their team and delivered National titles. JD didn't even have the balls to play in the bowl game after he won his reward.

This was such an unfortunate and unforced error I can't believe what I'm seeing here. No idea who gave him this advice but what an epic fail.
