For a medical redshirt, you can only play in 25% of contests, they all have to be in the first 50% of the season, and you have to have a medically documented season ending injury.

Playing even one snap at this point would negate that, because we are past the halfway point, and it would indicate his injury was not season ending.

I doubt Max will reconsider. His father knows the industry and they would not have made this move unless they had a plan in place. Max has probably already been given a promising opportunity at another university.

I’ll respect whatever Myles decides to do, he’s had a long journey and given a lot to LSU. But can you imagine how beloved he would be by LSU fans if he came back and capably shepherded the offense through the coaching transition?
