This video of Shepard PISSES ME OFF. I was also told he could not throw. Hell, he throws it 50 yards on a sprint to his right! And to think Shepard did'nt play ONE PLAY against Penn State.
It's just unbelievable that Miles has not allowed, or found a way, to let this guy throw the ball even once! I'm flabergasted, pissed and without words or reason.

what really sucks is I live in houston and saw 4 or 5 of his games, I've been saying it for the last two years that he can throw decently well...he just doesnt have much velocity on his ball but he throws very accurately...
Once more is the whole position switch was fouled up...he wanted to get onto the field and the only way to do that was WR. He wanted to play QB and he still wants to. His cousin (who is a freshman QB at TCU) lived down the street from me and he was on the phone with him in my driveway one day and told me...(shep was pissed about it intially) But he wanted what was best for the team and he wasnt going to cause a stir-up. He and everyone else see's that LSU needs a QB.

I hope we can get a coach that can actually utilize his talent before he ends up in the CFL....

I hope we get a new OC that can Play Metts as a pro-style, and have Shep as a dual-style. That would be something to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if he can't thrown like Ryan Mallett. He throws plenty well enough to make people honest.
We don't even have to play at QB all the time.
But if Les wants to figure out ways to give touches to Shep, just give him some snaps at QB. So many examples of this strategy being successful.
Oh well, end of rant. We all know this isn't going to happen. That's what's so disappointing.
