LSU's official Football Blog & Twitter account are actually routed through Posterous, which most people have no clue WTF that is.

LSU is actually on-literally-the bleeding edge of social media & technology, & the way we communicate & get out in front of and respond to media reports & potential issues puts USC & their head coach to shame.

Pete Carroll was busy Tweeting Beatles Lyrics on fricking Twitter while we're responding to NCAA issues in real-time using it.

Go eat a bowl of lukewarm frick, you fricking frick.

Don't blow this dudes mind with truth and facts. He's just butthurt because LSU is looking clean on the RS situation. He was salivating at the thought of the school he hates so much that he torments them on their message board all day was about to get in the same kind of trouble his shitty university got into. Guess it must have been like the first time he batted for the wrong team when he heard this was all blown out of proportion

This is the proper way to respond:

What we need to have is film," Miles said Thursday, according to The Times-Picayune of New Orleans. "Because we make all the decisions ourselves on whether the guy's good enough to play, nobody else. As long as they give us the video, that's all we really need."

"Although important, videos play only a small part in the recruiting process. Our recruiting history speaks for itself"

I have previously stated nothing will become of it and for folks to chill out. You incorrectly assumed my mindset.

They're showing a lack of geographic awareness.

For you two uninformed souls:

The fricking frick reference was from a blogger who skewered the recovery efforts in New Orleans after Katrina who the writer behind Treme-David Simon-picked up on & ran with.

He included a sort've homage to it using John Goodman during the 1st season.

Now that you've been brought up to date, you're also ignoring the fact that I've mentioned a social media site that LSU's using that NEITHER of you probably know WTF is. It's called Posterous. It's a microblogging cross between platforms that allows long-form posting that also truncates & seamlessly pushes through Twitter.

It essentially helps avoid the 140 word limitations Twitter can sometimes shackle them with.

Class dismissed, you dolts...

EDIT:

In this case,

quote:

dolts

refers to

quote:

LSUTANGERINE

and

quote:

Mr. I Need To Return Some Videotapes

So you are saying LSU finally found out how to use twitter like everyone else who uses in for the masses? I am going to nominate them for the Nobel Peace Prize

I'm just basing my assumptions on your posting persona. I compared you to Glenn Guilbieu the other day because you try to be "in the know" about LSU athletics, while putting a negative spin on your stance. Youre always very critical of LSU, but you keep it classy so you wont get banned. I personally think your whole act is childish, and when I see you post on here it makes me laugh a little. Posting on a USC board ranks right around getting attacked by pit bulls on my "things to do" list.

So you're admitting the fact that you're incorrect about your assumptions about my colorful usage of the English language in my response/retort?

Or are you purposefully ignoring the fact that LSU's using social media in ways other programs aren't in an effective response to a monolith like the WWL in Sports (World Wide Leader, in case you're ignorant about that, too. Whether purposefully or just blisfully)?

Or perhaps is it both?

I await with baited breath your next ubercool response utilizing emoticons, Sherlock Brohmes...

Nice Ocho-Cinco reference. Interesting that you watch HBO re-runs from close to 3 years ago in the hopes you can recycle them into fresh resets on message boards.

Perhaps. You sound like someone that used to work there. What a small world.
