JH is an LSU man through and through and has called some of the greatest moments in the history of LSU sports in his time in the booth. We are fortunate to have an announcer like JH that tries to describe the action instead of a corporate robotic suit whose only desire is to be working games at a higher level.
Why wont the "arse Kisser" emoticon work any longer?
JH is way past his prime. He no longer does his job effectively or competently. He's supposed to provide an accurate explanation on the radio as to what's happening down on the field to individuals not able to attend games in person. He no longer does that. I don't care how long he's been at LSU. John Ferguson was awesome in his prime, but eventually slowed down to the point of not being able to acurately describe the action. Same thing has happened to JH. Sorry LSU Cheerleaders, but the time for a change is already here or is very quickly approaching....

Probably the worst mistake in calling a baseball game is saying its moving to slow, meaning boring. I'll tune in every now and then just to get the score. Cannot stand to listen to JH do baseball. Football, I can tolerate, baseball, not been bery bery good. I guess he has baseball duties in his contract.

For all who thinks Jim sucks....I suggest listening to a few of the other schools games...maybe on XM radio or something.....he's a lot better than some of you might think....no one can argue he has the voice for the games on radio...he may screw some things up at times but ive listened to him make some of LSU's greatest calls of all time and il take him anyday over a lot of guys out there......be happy with what we got....cause chances are when hes gone....who knows, we may get stuck with Lynn Rollins or someone like that heaven forbid
