I wondered the same thing as I was listening to it. At first, Hawthorne sounded like it had a chance to get over the wall, then he made it sound like it would be caught. Alas, the agony of listening on radio and not being able to see what's happening. I guess the call was spot-on though.
I did enjoy JH admit he thought Watkins looked overmatched immediately before the game-winning hit.
