Look, I have always been the most positive person but I have little faith in this coach or his staff's ability to develop talent. That is why I have the least amount of excitement this year than I have ever had. I hope I am wrong.

This will be LM 6th yr at LSU. In his 1st 5 yrs, he won more games than any other coach in our history. Who do u think developed the talent to win those 51 games and if u say NS I will puke.

Thanks and let me clarify just a tad. I am interest in who he thinks is better than Miles and is willing to leave his job to coach LSU.
No one ever knows this until the offer is made and the terms qualified. Have you ever had a job offer before? Geez, people, this isn't rocket science. Make the offer a great one and things start to open up. You could make the argument that LSU can't (or won't) pay and that might be a valid response, but just to say point blank without even trying that LSU can't get a quality coach is just dumb.

I have always been a hopeful Tiger. Hopeful that the people in charge can turn things around. The 90s almost beat that out of me though. I hope Les can continue positive direction.

Afterall, 9 wins is more than 8. Hopefully there will be more than 9 this year.

It's not as easy as u make it out to be either.

Ask Michigan, ND, Tennessee, or USC.

Getting shuck of a losing coach is no big gamble, but getting rid of a NC coach who is winning, going to major bowls, and having ranked teams is a big time gamble and many would say just plain dumb.

Big asterisk there. If the "many" (whoever they are) would be told the name Les Miles and LSU, then "they" would probably respond with, "ohhhhhh now I see why".

Right---there is all the other NC coaches, SEC west champion coaches, BCS bowl winning coaches, LSU most wins in 5 yr coaches, and then LM.

Maybe u should think about changing your name to "out of touch with realitytiger".

I gave it a reasonable shot. Why don't you give it a shot. Please define "negatiger" for us.

And then name five coaches better than Miles that you think will leave their team to coach at LSU.

It fluctuates for me. Hallman era I was a very negatiger. Positive lor much of Dinardo. Positive under Saban and now its kind of taking a downturn.

I actually met Hallman at Cortana Mall after he was fired. I lied to him and said I was sad to see him go. Truthfully I was leading the charge to have him fired.

I grew up being a LSU fan. This new thing is for the newcomers who jumped on the bandwagon and can't handle the bumps in the road. Their hinies aint toughened up yet.

We might should form another class of Tiger fan called DGAF-Tigers. I can target when it started, too.
