I went to the entire CWS in 2017. The first couple I sat by in the first game I went to (LSU was not playing) were in full LSU dress. We talked quite a bit and it turns out they go to the CWS EVERY year since they both retired in the late 1990s. They love college baseball and love Omaha and they always dress in LSU clothing for every game every year. I admire them for that.
In 2017 I saw fans dressed in Nebraska, Creighton, Miss State, Texas, and Cal Fullerton shirts even though their teams were not in the CWS that year.
