if you watched espn that year...all they talked about prior to the big 12 championship was how OK was so far ahead in the BCS standings that win or lose they'd be playing in the BCS title game. ...and how the 'when you lose' factor had been successfully erased thanks to this wonderful thing called the bcs.

well.we all know what happened..and then yep..whiney pete started with the 'we're ap #1' crap and the rest is history.
