has the NCAA ever been this lenient to LSU regarding any infractions?

We fired Cregg and Wade. We also penalized ourselves. They know the football program has always been relatively “clean”.

Almost like the AD and the NCAA President are super close and he discussed what self imposed things to do so the NCAA goes easy on them.

Alabama would have never self imposed and the NCAA would have said the Alabama compliance dept did everything they could and should not be responsible for a selfish rogus employee. Alabama would have walked with Zero infrations.

It was a stupid infraction to begin with and the guy got paid $500k for doing it, that should have been the extent of the penalty
