He was very inaccurate early but dropped some dimes later in the game ( Dupre, Quinn ). The one big improvement I saw was his touch on short passes. He has a long way to go but improvement in this area was undeniable. The busted play where he threw to Jeter( called back) was something that would've never happened earlier this season.

Nothing changed with Harris. All year he has had a beautiful deep ball and struggled to hit targets on short and intermediate passes. Last night was more of the same. Beautiful deep balls of play action passes and some one hopped short passes

I'm not saying he played good, he had three balls that were terrible. All were beyond 15 yards. The one he bounced to Diarse his arm was hit in the throwing motion. He didn't play good, but we ran a screen for a TD and the other dump passes were improved.

SEVERAL dropped balls doesn't help the cause!! I want him to be able to turn that corner and be the QB we need him to be... hopefully some true competition this spring and summer will be beneficial!!

Looked like the same guy...inconsistent. That said, hard work in the off season and a year's experience could make the difference next year. Plus, he may have some competition in the spring from Etling.

not really. he was like 8-11 in the first half, and there was also a nice 15 or so yd pass that Diarse took another 20 that got called back. he was more inaccurate later in the game.

This, it's like people just look for things to complain about. He was either 8-11 or 9-12 to finish the first half. He had a couple of bad throws but he's no All-American but I think he'll be a solid QB for us next year.

Harris' footwork is sooooooo damn slow!!!! My goodness that kid needs to move with a sense of urgency back there. I guess watching him next to Mahomme its easy to see night and day with speed when they are on the same field.

Nothing changed. Dupre had had to jump to make great catch, the screen to fournette was poor. Couldn't set his feet on crossing route to Quinn. Many other glaring deficiencies.

Maybe it was the first time I paid attention all year, but has he always stared down his first option like that. Maybe twice the whole game I saw him go to a second read. Not once did I see him go through a full progression on his routes before throwing. I'm not sure if that is a coaching ,or a just a player problem, but it is a big problem

You weren't watching the same game I was. He looked great on the short passes when compared to earlier in the season. He completed a swing pass, hit bubble screens, hit running/full back dumps. The only thing I'd like to see him do is on the first redzone appearance check down to the open crossing tight end rather than force a tight throw to the end zone.

His deep ball was actually inaccurate until the second half.

I found his shorter passes improved, but his intermediate still needs a ton of work as he is wildly inconsistent. He is very capable of being a good SEC QB, we will just have to hope that his hard work pays off during the offseason. Coaches have a full year of gamefilm from him to break down and will be able to get to work immediately on his areas of weakness. I did feel like he played better last night, basically a pre-Bama version of himself.

LSU cannot win the Sec with this offense. The passing game is to old fashion.
