Its pretty obvious that they , The University, had 3 guys in mind. Fisher, Herman, and O. Its been apparent from the start that this was the case. Its also been apparent from the start that Alleva isn't the lone decision maker.

This was my issue with people crowing for Alleva to fire Miles. Alleva firing Miles = Alleva hiring head football coach. Was Miles past his prime? Yes. Alleva has ruined multiple programs, though, so he should have been pressured out before Miles so that a decent AD could make the hire.
Reminds me of the fans crowing for the Pelicans to fire Monty Williams while I was warning that Dell Demps was the problem. They got their cake.
